Clipper Stad Amsterdam - Tour day
Join us on board the luxurious Clipper Stad Amsterdam for the day where she will be moored on the Thames close to the iconic Tower Bridge in London. We are excited to announce we will be joined by Kiko Matthews who on 22 March 2018, became the fastest woman to row the Atlantic, solo and unsupported! Come along and hear first hand about her experience!

What is included on the day? 10.15am: Arrival and security 10.30am: Transfer to Stad Amsterdam 11.00am: Welcome Brunch & Talks Hear from the Captain of the ship and our special guest for the day Kiko Matthews! 12.00pm: Sail Carousel A guided hands-on tour of the ship 1.00pm: Mast Climb We will be holding a silent auction on board for those who wish to join the Race4Rene crew to the top of the mast ... at 43m high, this is an unforgettable experience that will test your speed, agility ... and nerves! Are you up to the challenge?! 2.30pm: Onboard Bar Opens! To round off the day you will have the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere and views with a few drinks in the alfresco bar! 3.30pm: Tenders depart Note: Timings are subject to change on the day. Tenders will be leaving throughout the day should you wish to depart earlier. The Clipper: From the moment you step on board the Clipper Stad Amsterdam you’ll feel as if you’ve gone back in time. Her beautiful chart house, original rigging and superbly maintained teak woodwork all echo the romance of the 19th century. At the same time, Clipper Stad Amsterdam offers every form of 21st-century comfort and luxury. The ship is 76 metres long and carries 31 sails with a total area of 2,200 square metres. She has an authentic square rig and a pointed bow. The interior contains 14 luxury cabins, a spacious dining room (the long room), and an al fresco bar. What do you need to know?
A tender will collect you from the Tower Millennium Pier (EC3N 4DT) at 10:30am, please be prompt and allow 15 min for checking in. You will be dropped back at the pier in the afternoon around 4pm. PHOTO ID will be required to access the event (Passport/ID Card or drivers licence). The alfresco bar accepts cash only.
